Tunisian Ishwiya

Anis Laribi, President of the Association of Tunisians in Tsukuba (ATT Jasmine), would like to invite you to a Tunisian Ishwiya ("afternoon gathering" in Tunisian dialect).

The event includes:

  • A presentation about Tunisia (History, Culture, Tourism, Economy, etc.)
  • Two Fashion shows of traditional dress (Japanese dresses worn by Tunisians and Tunisian dresses worn by Japanese) with live traditional music (Koto and Malouf)
  • Tunisian drinks and sweets (Rouzata & Mlabess)
  • Tunisian music and dance.

Date: Sunday January 25, 2009
Time: 2pm to 4pm (entrance from 1:30pm)
Venue: Nova Hall (1-10-1 Azuma, Tsukuba Center)
Fee: 1000 Yen (students 800 yen)
