Philippine Fiesta 2008 in Ishioka
The Filipino Association of Ishioka is eager to promote the Filipino culture in Japan and will be hosting the 2nd Philippine Fiesta on May 18th, Sunday.
WHEN:
May 18, 2008 (Sunday), from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
VENUE:
国府地区公民館 石岡市国府5丁目7-1 (MAP)
Kokufuchiku Kouminkan, Ishioka-shi Kokufu 5-7-1
Approximately, 40 cars can be accommodated in the kouminkan’s parking lot. Please carpool.
ACTIVITIES:
1. A showcase of the Philippine culture through songs, dances, costumes and traditional games.
2. An “all-you-can-eat buffet” of Philippine foods.
TICKETS:
a. 300yen for elementary pupils
b. 500yen for Junior and Senior High School Students
c. 1000yen for adults
Tickets can be obtained at the venue entrance on May 18th.
Since we really want to know the number of people who would like to participate in the event, we are encouraging those interested to please contact by phone the concerned persons below for reservations not later than May 10th.
