Tokyo English Life Line (TELL) Telephone Counselor Training Program
Tokyo English Life Line (TELL) is accepting applications for the daytime Telephone Counselors Training Program which starts on Feb 9th and goes until April 24th with sessions held every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9.30 – 12.30pm. No prior counseling experience is needed as this course provides training in the skills required for this role. This is a great opportunity for members of the English speaking community to take part in meaningful work that is both challenging and rewarding. Applicants must be fluent in English and over 21.

Tokyo English Life Line (TELL) is a registered non-profit organization that has been providing information and support to Tokyo’s international and Japanese communities since 1973. The Life Line provides free, confidential telephone counseling 365 days a year. TELL Community Counseling Service provides accredited, professional face-to-face counseling in Tokyo and Yokohama. TELL is accredited by the Samaritan Institute (USA), LifeLine International, and is a member of the Federation of Inochi no Denwa (Japan).
