Tsukuba City Hiring Assistant English Teachers

Tsukuba City Hall is hiring Assistant English Teachers (AETs) for the next academic year. Applicants must be from countries other than Japan and they must be able to each English to elementary school and junior high school students. They must have a university degree and have Japanese ability equivalent to Level 3 on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. They must also possess a Japanese driver’s license.

The term of employment is from April 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008. Applications will be accepted until January 31, 2007.

Apply by filling out the resume form provided online or by filling out a regular Japanese resume form (you can by them at any convenience store) and sending it to the Board of Education. The resume must be in Japanese. The Board will not answer questions in English.
